Junior Software Engineer

Digibelt Srl is looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer who wants to become an important part of a small but growing startup focused on process improvement through digitization. You would be part of the development team and have the opportunity to grow a product used by leading companies that are investing in cutting edge digital tools

Essential Requirements:

• Fair knowledge of JAVA, HTML5, CSS, JAVASCRIPT
• Basic knowledge of SQL databases
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems
• Short experience in web application development (1-2 years)
• Diploma or degree in computer science
• Knowledge of spoken and written English
• Dynamic approach and continuous learning orientation
• Problem solving skills
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills

Preferred factors:

• Knowledge of the VAADIN framework
• Knowledge of the VUEJS development environment
• Knowledge of DOCKER containers
• Knowledge of Version Control System tools (GIT, GITLAB)
• Knowledge of POSTGRE SQL database
• Knowledge of TIME SERIES DB influx
• Familiarity with industrial processes, particularly in the manufacturing industry
• Familiarity with the principles of Lean Thinking and Agile Development
• Interest in implementing artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms
• Speed of learning

What you will be responsible for at Digibelt:

• Develop new application solutions customised to the needs expressed by the end customer
• Maintaining and consolidating the product ecosystem of Digibelt's Lean Digital Platform
• Participation and involvement in innovative projects in the application of AI algorithms in machine learning fields
• Installation at the customer's premises (on-site or remote) of the application modules of the Digibelt platform
